Here are 5 things to keep in mind while designing an effective menu:
π½️ Eye-Scanning Patterns Matter: While the upper right-hand corner was once considered the sweet spot, new research suggests customers start reading menus from the top left corner.
π½️ Organize into Logical Sections: Create an easy-to-navigate menu by arranging items sequentially and in logical groups, beginning with appetizers.
π½️ Use Photos Sparingly: It's often better to let customers imagine the dishes. Consider using appealing illustrations that convey your restaurant's personality.
π½️ Avoid Currency Signs: Keep the focus on the food, not the prices. Studies show that omitting currency signs can encourage customers to spend more.
π½️ Leverage Boxes for Emphasis: Boxes can draw attention to specific menu items, making them great for promoting high-margin dishes like pasta. Use them strategically.
"The Persistence of Memory" is a surreal painting created in 1931 by Salvador Dali.
Salvador DalΓ was an eccentric Spanish surrealist artist and "The Persistence of Memory," is one of his most iconic paintings. The work showcases a dreamlike landscape filled with melting clocks, symbolizing the connection between past, present, and future.
