The highly anticipated Capital One Lounge at Denver International Airport (DEN) is finally open. We were there for an exclusive preview, and our expectations were exceeded. Just like the lounges at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Washington's Dulles International Airport (IAD), the Denver Capital One Lounge proudly showcases local culture through its food, drinks and decor.
This new lounge boasts over 50 original artworks by local artists. As many travelers at the mile-high airport are connecting between coasts, they will appreciate the variety of grab-and-go options available, including jarred salads, granola bowls and fresh juices.
There is also a selection of delicious baked goods, such as lavender chocolate chip cookies and herb cheese pinwheels. Additionally, guests can enjoy draft lattes and cold brew on tap from La Colombe, as well as drip coffee from Unravel Coffee Merchants.
The lounge caters to business travelers as well as families with three private relaxation rooms, two private phone booths, two well-equipped shower suites, a parents room and kid-sized tables and chairs.
