| Ready to upgrade your next trip? | by Tarah Chieffi, Travel News Reporter | | | When we discuss our favorite business credit cards, we usually tout the perks that can benefit your business.
Some business cards — like the Capital One Venture X Business — deliver business benefits like bonus-earning categories, shopping and travel protections, and the ability to add employee cards for free and the perks you'd expect from a premium travel card, like access to a luxury hotel program. Capital One has two such programs: the Premier Collection and the Lifestyle Collection.
With Capital One's Premier Collection, you'll get benefits like complimentary Wi-Fi, daily breakfast for two, early check-in, late checkout, a room upgrade at check-in and experience credits for dining or spa services during your stay at brands like Six Senses, Viceroy Hotels & Resorts and more.
The Lifestyle Collection includes more boutique and modern properties like Virgin Hotels, The Standard and Design Hotels. When you book one of these through the Capital One Travel portal, you'll receive a $50 experience credit to use during your stay, complimentary Wi-Fi, room upgrades, early check-in and late checkout.
With both programs, some benefits, like early check-in and room upgrades, are based on availability. Both programs also allow you to earn 10 miles per dollar when you book using your card, or you can redeem miles for your stay.
These travel perks are in addition to the card's reasonable $395 annual fee (see rates and fees) and generous welcome offer of up to 300,000 bonus miles that TPG values at a whopping $5,500. You'll earn 150,000 miles after spending $20,000 in the first three months from account opening and another 150,000 miles after spending $100,000 in the first six months.
