How to Design a Stand-Out Beer Brand
Designing a beer brand that succeeds in a crowded market requires creativity and out-of-the-box thinking.
Here are some tips to help you craft an unforgettable beer brand:
🍺Make it interactive: Engage customers by adding interactive elements to your packaging. For example, you could include a QR code on the label that links to a virtual brewery tour, exclusive recipes, or behind-the-scenes content.
🍺Appeal to the sense of touch: Add a touch of texture to your label or bottle for a memorable sensory experience. Raised lettering, embossed designs, or matte finishes can create a distinctive feel that separates your brand.
🍺Create hype with limited editions: Partner with local artists, musicians, or influencers to create limited-edition labels or special releases. These collaborations can generate buzz around your brand.
🍺Get playful and whimsical: Inject humor and personality into your branding using playful illustrations, memes, and clever taglines. This can help your brand stand out and appeal to a younger, more adventurous audience.
🍺Storytelling through packaging: Use your label design to tell a story about your brand or the beer's origin.

Mountain Dew was created by brothers Barney and Ally Hartman in the late 1930s.
It all began when the brothers moved to Knoxville, Tennessee. After not finding their favorite whiskey mixer there, they decided to create their own. They named it Mountain Dew, an old slang term for moonshine. PepsiCo acquired Mountain Dew in 1964, added orange flavoring and the signature lime-green color, and it eventually became associated with extreme sports.
