| | | | | | | | | | | | | We promised to be with you every step of the way to kick off Bilt 2.0 with TPG's new Bilt Navigator series, so we're back to make sure your account is set up and ready to earn as many points as possible, whether you have a Bilt credit card or not.
Here are a few steps you should take now:
- Add some of your non-Bilt credit cards to your Bilt account
It may sound too good to be true, but you can earn Bilt Rewards Points (and rewards on a non-Bilt credit card) on some purchases even if you aren't using a Bilt credit card.
Just go to the "Wallet" tab in your Bilt app, and you can easily add any credit card.
Then, when shopping at eligible locations, you'll earn the normal points your credit card awards for those purchases, plus some super-valuable Bilt points.
Bonus tip: If you have a Bilt 2.0 credit card and haven't activated it yet, you can use this QR code to get that process started and start racking up points that way.

- Earn Bilt points on dining, shopping at Walgreens, parking and more
Once you've registered any credit card with Bilt, if you dine at a restaurant that participates in Bilt Dining and pay with, say, even a Citi Strata Elite℠ Card that you registered with Bilt, you'll earn your normal 3 Citi ThankYou points per dollar spent on dining with the Citi credit card (and more during CitiNights), and you'll also earn 3 Bilt points per dollar.
TPG tip: There are over 20,000 Bilt-affiliated restaurants all over the country (even some chain restaurants you may already frequent), so you want to register for the Bilt dining program no matter where you live.
You'll also pick up some extra Bilt points when you use a registered card at Walgreens (2 Bilt points per dollar spent on Walgreens-branded products and 1 point per dollar on all other Walgreens spending) — not to mention the points you can earn on prescriptions there.
There are even parking locations where you can earn 1 Bilt point per dollar spent, even without a Bilt credit card, just by linking your Bilt and Metropolis parking accounts.
While there are three new Bilt cards ranging from the no-annual-fee Bilt Blue Card (see rates and fees) to the premium Bilt Palladium Card (see rates and fees) that brings with it a welcome bonus of 50,000 points after you spend $4,000 on everyday purchases in the first three months, plus $300 in Bilt Cash upon approval, you don't actually need one of those to start racking up Bilt points.
We'll be back in a few days to help you figure out which style of earning rewards will make the most sense in Bilt 2.0 for your situation and much more – all without making your head hurt. We pinky promise.
