| | | | | | | | | | | | | It's been a very busy month since the start of the Bilt Rewards 2.0 program. If you set everything up on day one and haven't looked back, great. If you got busy and skipped a few steps or haven't gotten a chance to decide if you want to go all-in yet, you're not alone.
We promised to be with you every step of the way with TPG's Bilt Navigator series, so we're back to make sure you're earning as many valuable Bilt Points and perks as possible. Think of this as a quick systems check that you can knock out in five minutes.
Your 30-day Bilt 2.0 checklist
If you want to be sure you're earning as many points as possible, here are a few quick steps:
| ✓ | Make sure your credit cards are linked: In the Bilt app or website, tap "Wallet" and confirm all of your Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards are added. This is how you earn Bilt points automatically at Neighborhood partners — which stacks Bilt earnings on top of your card's earnings. The more cards you link, the more opportunities to earn. | | ✓ | Check your Neighborhood Benefits: Open the Neighborhood tab and confirm the partners you use are linked. Prioritize these first:
- Dining: Confirm you've toggled on the option to enable rewards at all 20,000-plus Neighborhood Dining restaurants. You'll earn up to 3 Bilt points per dollar spent with any linked card.
- Lyft: Tap "Rideshare" to verify Bilt is your active loyalty partner. Remember, you can earn 2 Bilt points per dollar spent when using Lyft — regardless of which card you use.
- Walgreens: Tap "Pharmacy" to confirm your link is active to earn Bilt points on prescription refills and other purchases.
- Parking: Register your license plate in the Metropolis section for automatic points on parking.
| | ✓ | Set a Rent Day reminder: Even without a Bilt card, you can access Rent Day perks on the first of each month — ranging from free fitness classes to dining experiences and more. Set a recurring calendar reminder titled "Check Rent Day" so you don't miss it. Bookmark this page for the latest details. | | ✓ | Link Bilt to your Rakuten account: Tap "Rewards" to link your Bilt account, then check your Rakuten account settings to make sure you're set up to earn Bilt points. This lets you earn even more points when you shop online. | | ✓ | Check your points balance: Tap your profile icon to see how many Bilt points you've earned so far. If you've been active with dining, Lyft and other partners, you might be surprised by how many you've racked up. |
What you're missing without a Bilt card
You can earn a very solid number of points as a general Bilt Rewards member, but here's what a Bilt card would add to the mix:
- Points on your rent or mortgage: You could earn up to 1.25 points per dollar spent on housing payments.
- Rent Day bonuses: Bilt cardholders earn double points (up to 1,000 bonus points on non-housing purchases) on the first of each month. That's up to 2, 4 or even 6 points per dollar charged to your Bilt credit card, depending on which card you have and what you're buying.
- Welcome bonuses: Right now, you can earn 50,000 bonus points plus $300 in Bilt Cash with the Bilt Palladium Card (see rates and fees) after spending $4,000 on everyday purchases in the first three months, or get instant Bilt Cash with one of the other Bilt cards.
- Elite status: The Palladium Card grants Bilt Gold status after $4,000 in spending, unlocking higher Rent Day transfer bonuses and early access to fitness classes, among other perks.
