| | | | | | | | | | | | | Welcome back to TPG's Bilt Navigator, where we help you make the absolute most of Bilt 2.0 and its points and perks.
On deck today is one of our absolute favorite topics: maximizing your Bilt Rewards Points.
You can use your Bilt Points for virtually everything from booking lie-flat seats to fly across the globe (for way less than you probably think) to booking five-star beachfront resorts that otherwise sell for hundreds per night, and even your next Amazon order, Lyft ride, rent payment or, believe it or not, student loans or a down payment on a house.
All points are not created equally, and there's a reason that TPG has pegged Bilt points as the most valuable, with a current valuation of 2.2 cents each (according to TPG's March 2026 valuations).
Maximize Bilt points with transfer partners
To know how to maximize Bilt points, you need to know why they are the most valuable points. The answer largely lies in the extensive list of 24 (and growing!) transfer partners, which, cumulatively, we think are the best in the business.
Some example powerhouses you can transfer to are:
- World of Hyatt
- Atmos Rewards (Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines)
- United MileagePlus
- Japan Airlines Mileage Bank
- Air Canada Aeroplan
- Flying Blue (Air France and KLM)
- Airline programs that use Avios (British Airways Club, Iberia Club, Aer Lingus AerClub, etc.)
We'll get back to other uses of Bilt points in a minute, but mathematically, the most valuable way to use Bilt points is to strategically transfer them to a high-value transfer partner and book travel through that program.
Award prices can and do vary, but here are some examples of what is currently possible:
- A night at the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa from 21,000 points transferred to Hyatt
- Lie-flat business-class seat from Los Angeles to Tokyo on Japan Airlines from 55,000 points transferred to Japan Airlines (plus taxes and fees)
- Domestic seats on American Airlines across the country booked from 7,500 points transferred to Atmos Rewards in economy or 15,000 in first class (plus taxes and fees)
HYATT.COM In all of those examples, you are usually going to come in over (and often well over) the 2.2-cents-per-point TPG valuation of Bilt points. You can transfer points out of Bilt by going to the Rewards page within Bilt and then selecting the Transfer option.
Stretch points further with transfer bonuses
On many Bilt Rent Days (the first day of each month), you'll find some transfer bonuses to select partners that make your transferred points go even further — more than 100% further in some cases, depending on your Bilt elite status level.
Use Bilt points for Amazon purchases, rent payments, Lyft rides and more
Of course, not everyone will want to transfer their Bilt points to book travel, so here are some other handy ways you can redeem your Bilt points, too: - Redeem for Lyft rides (0.7 cents per point)
- Redeem for travel booked through Bilt Travel (1.25 cents per point)
- Redeem for Amazon purchases (0.7 cents per point)
- Redeem for gift cards with brands such as Starbucks and Instacart (0.7 cents per point)
- Redeem toward rent (0.5 cents per point)
- Redeem toward eligible student loans (1 cent per point)
The best bang for your Bilt points from a mathematical point of view can be transfer partners, but that's just one of many options. And as long as using the points keeps money in your wallet or puts a smile on your face, you really can't go wrong. | How to stack your earnings
