If you want to wait a while, you can still set airfare price alerts for your dates with one or more OTA's (online travel agencies). It's the easiest way to view any fluctuation in rates, and it's free and easy to set up. You'll receive an email notification when prices rise or drop. You can also set the frequency of these notifications.
Here's how:
Google Flights: You must be signed into your Google account. Find your ideal itinerary. Above your flight results, toggle on Track prices. You can track your specific travel dates, or choose Any Dates if you are flexible. Google Flights also shows a price history chart indicating if your target dates are priced High, Low, or Typical.
Expedia: You'll need to sign in to your Expedia account. Once you've found an itinerary, turn on the toggle button next to Watch prices.
Skyscanner: Select your route and dates in the app or website. Tap the heart icon to save the flight to your favorites, then tap the bell icon to activate the Price Alert.
Kayak: You'll need to set up a free account to begin. Next, run a search with your dates/destination. On the results page, toggle on Track prices (upper-left corner). Kayak shows a historical price graph indicating whether the current prices are good or suggest you should wait.

The nearest major airport to Grenada is Malaga-Costa del Sol (AGP), about 60 miles southwest of Grenada. The rail route between the two cities is about 90 minutes and costs roughly $30 one-way. Another option that is best for sightseeing in Andalusia's famous cities is to fly into the Seville Airport (SVQ). The drive time to Grenada is about 2.5 hours or 3 hours via the Renfe high-speed train. You can also fly into one city and out of another, should you want to explore more of Spain and/or Portugal before or after the big day! |
